Try this small shift to open up creativity, flow, and solve problems!

Pressure works best in small doses, and when it’s followed by a period of release.

Sure, sometimes we need a little pressure to put out our best work and get things done. As in the pressure of a deadline.

But all too often, putting pressure on ourselves can become a regular habit that we NEVER get a proper break from.

We think that it's required in order to do our best, but it's not. There's another way.

Not everything in your life needs pressure on it, all the time.

Too much pressure stops the flow-of your ideas, your creativity, your problem solving abilities.

So my challenge for you this week is to find 1 or 2 ways to release some pressure you’ve put on yourself.

Maybe it’s letting go of a “perfect” outcome at work, and instead staying open to rolling with the best possible outcomes.

Perhaps it’s reminding yourself that you are DOING enough as you show up for your family, friends and important people in your life.

Maybe it's removing the pressure of trying to figure everything out on your own.

That's the one for me this week...it's easy for me to get pulled into thinking that I can't ask for help, or that I "should" have been able to figure it out on my own.

By asking for and accepting the help I need, I can relieve the pressure of feeling like it’s all just down to me. When I do that, I can feel the cloud of overwhelm lift and my ability to be more productive expands.

What comes to mind for you?
