Ugh...I still catch myself in this energy drain sometimes. Do you?

Have you ever caught yourself using a lot of energy trying to anticipate what someone's reaction might be to something you say or do? 

For example, if you are thinking about setting a new boundary or holding one you already know you need, do you ever try to talk yourself out of needing it because you are worried about what the other person will think or how they will react? 

Or you wonder how you will explain to them why you need this particular boundary?

(You can't see me, but my hand is up. I have SO done this!!)

IT USES UP SO MUCH ENERGY!! 

I can't tell you how much I used to worry about saying I wasn't available to see clients at a certain time or that my earliest appointment was in the late morning. 

I thought for sure people would judge me, or think I was being lazy or not a hard worker, even though I knew I gave MUCH better massage sessions if I took the time away that I needed. 

This energy loss is so unnecessary but it is also SO SNEAKY!
