Where are YOU in all of this?
Does it ever feel like somewhere along the way, you lost a part of yourself that you just haven’t been able to get back?
Between all the responsibilities of your work, your relationships and family, and general adulting, it can feel like there isn’t much time for YOU on your schedule.
There used to be things that you did that made you feel alive; things that contributed to a feeling of thriving in your life, not just merely surviving.
It might even seem like anytime you plan for something in the category of “just for you”, something always gets in the way.
Your kid can’t find his homework so you spend an hour helping him find it and forgo taking your walk, because now it’s time to make dinner.
Your boss asks you to work extra hours on the weekend, just this “one more” time, and you have to cancel brunch with your friends.
Your sister calls with her crisis du jour, and you never make it out the door for your yoga class.
You may be so used to not getting to do the things you really want to, that you stop even trying to plan for it.
It becomes a habit to place the needs of others above your own. You don’t even notice that you do it, but you do notice the weight on your shoulders and the nagging feeling of resentment creeping up in your throat.
And perhaps you do put yourself on your schedule, but then you also say yes to everyone else’s requests for your time. Before you know it, your schedule is so overwhelming that all you want to do is NOTHING, other than veg out on the couch, binging on the latest Netflix show.
I’ve been there, and I love that now I get to help people learn how to pause, reconnect with themselves and start planning ahead for ways to thrive again.
In my Breath & Boundaries program, we will work together to create a Personalized Action Plan so that you know exactly the steps you need to take in order to start showing up for YOU!!
Part of creating this plan will be looking at what usually gets in the way of you putting yourself on your schedule, as well as learning some tools to pause and connect within before committing to anything.
(Spoiler alert..this is where the breath comes in!)
Learning how to thrive again is a win-win for everyone around you.
So what do you say…let’s get you showing up for yourself, shall we?
