Here’s how it looks in real life…

People think that perfectionism is just an obsessive attention to detail or a desire to be really good at what you do

That can be true, but it's also SO much more!

Perfectionism is exhausting.

The constant worrying about what people think.

The feeling of never quite measuring up to your own (ridiculously high) standards.

Preparing so much for something that you don’t even want to do it anymore when the time comes.

The mean voice in your head telling you that what you’re doing isn’t enough and never will be.

The volunteering to take on extra work even when you don’t have the capacity for it, just so people think you’re doing your share.

The working late to ensure people know you are giving it your all.

Feeling frustrated and resentful with others because they don't seem to be giving as much as you are.

It drains your energy-physical, emotional and mental AND zaps your creativity and problem solving abilities.

There are ways to help yourself get better at dealing with perfectionist tendencies and I am excited to share them with you!

The clients I work with on this have been getting great results and I use these methods too for myself.

Wednesday (2/26) at 11:30am EST I am offering a workshop called “How to Move Through Perfectionism (Without Sacrificing Your Results).

We'll meet on Zoom, and when you sign up you'll get an email with the link.

It is totally free, and you’ll have access to the recording for 1 week after if you can’t be there live.

Hope to see you there!
