Read this if you're tired of making things harder for yourself.

Do you ever ask yourself if the thought you’re having is serving you or not? 

I never used to.

I just thought that my thoughts were my thoughts and that was that-it felt out of my control.

I saw every thought I had as the absolute truth.

Some of the thoughts I had on repeat were creating so much drama for me-and it was me thinking them!

And it was draining me. It made everything I was trying to do feel heavy and frustrating.

My thoughts were definitely NOT helping me reach my goals. 

While it’s true that you can’t control what thoughts come into your mind, you CAN actually choose which ones you hold onto and believe. 

This was a complete revelation to me!

Learning how to question my own thoughts, ask myself IF they were even TRUE, and only KEEPING the thoughts that were HELPFUL to me has completely shifted the way I react to things.

And when I am able to respond, rather than just react out of habit, I can stay in action towards my goals, and be true to HOW I want to show up to my life.

Why do your thoughts matter so much?

Because our brains believe what we are constantly telling ourselves. And your brain will search for the evidence to support what it is you are thinking and believing.

Rather than searching for the evidence that what you WANT is possible. 

So here’s how to start CHOOSING better thoughts:

1. Ask yourself if the thought is even true (100%, all the time). Usually it’s not.

2. Notice how certain thoughts make you feel and what actions you take (or don't take) when thinking them. Do you like that feeling? Are you doing what you want to be doing? If not….it’s time to choose a better thought.

**The “better thought” needs to still be true and believable, but from a new perspective. Ask yourself “what thought would be more supportive here?”

“Is there any other way I could look at this?” Or, “what would help me feel_____(desired feeling) about this?

If you want to stop kicking up your own drama and finally do the things you are longing to do, you are just one DECISION away!

Decide to not engage with unhelpful thoughts, and decide to CHOOSE a better one.
