This is why you find it hard to follow advice from a friend when you tell them about your problem...

Hi Helen Marie,

When you chat with a friend or even a mentor about a problem you are having, it often goes like this:

They tell you what you should do, how you should do it, or give an example from their own life about how they handled a similar issue.

This can feel really satisfying at first because you have an answer.

But, more often than not, you already know what you SHOULD be doing or how you could solve this problem.

You can KNOW logically what you need to do, but until you address the underlying beliefs that are stopping you from doing it, and actually let that energy be heard instead of trying to stuff it down and ignore and change it, you will continue to block yourself.

THIS is how the coaching that I do is different than chatting with a friend, consultant or mentor.

I don’t tell you what to do. I help you uncover and move through your blocks. This gives you precious skills you can use for the rest of your life, in any situation.
